Though Sunday, June 6, has already passed, I just wanted to talk about how I felt when I first came to TAMU for the governor's school. When I arrived on campus not only was it hot, it was practically in the middle of nowhere; I was more use to colleges in major cities like UT @ Austin. Besides TAMU being so deserted, it was hot, like ridiculously hot. Though I'm from Houston, I'm still not use to the heat. I wasn’t sure about my roommate at all, but I was so surprised by how nice and friendly she was.
Throughout the entire day I was so tired, and I didn’t know what to expect. Dinner was good on the first day and the movie we watched, Green, was fine, too, but I just wanted to sleep.
